Responsibilities: Responsible for the quality of care administered to patients in the OR seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Provides leadership and direction of operations, organization, administration and evaluation of patient care. Develops, coordinates and implements department standards. Works collaboratively with other disciplines, departments and support services. Accountable for the development and implementation of methods to improve patient care and enhance staff development. Participates in strategic and operational planning. Manages financial responsibilities and productivity of department.
Qualifications: Education/Experience: BS or BA in Nursing, advanced education and certification preferredA minimum of two years experience as an RN in an Operating RoomA ! minimum of three years experience in a leadership position Skills: Strong communication skillsBasic computer skillsElectronic medical recordLicensure/Certification: BLSMN RN
