The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, training and motivating an inside sales team to both meet and exceed sales goals. This person will be responsible for managing a team of 6-10 employees. The Inside Sales Manager will be directly responsible for driving revenue, profitability and customer acquisition goals by managing the day-to-day direction and overall development of the inside sales team. Th! e Inside Sales Manager will report to the VP of Sales.
Supervise the daily operation and activity related to all aspects of assigned personnel including:
Hire, train, lead, coach, mentor and provide daily work direction, monitor work performances and provide continued telesales skill development for the Sales Support Advocates. Monitor individual SSA performance metrics, review finding with each person and make recommendations for improved performance. Coordinate daily call activities/target account lists with sales directors when needed Support and educate SSA’s focusing on the growth of current Medivators customers. Be accountable for meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual objectives relating to qualified leads and closed revenue: Motivate team to sell products via effective sales incentive programs, career development and reporting activities. Work with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting of activities for SSA’s occurs. Follow up as needed on accurate tracking of all sales results. Provide feedbac! k and coaching to SSA’s on activities and results as needed. Develop appropriate telesales training programs, processes and infrastructure, and identify product/technical training needs, to enable team and individual success, working with Sales Management and Marketing as appropriate. Attend and participate in sales management strategy meetings as required.
Qualifications
4-year degree or equivalent 4-7 years of experience 2-4 years successful telephone (or field) sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry. 1-3 years experience coaching, developing and supervising a sales/inside sales team Highly detail oriented, process centric and metric driven.
