Student enrollment is a prerequisite for gaining, and a condition of continuing, a student employment appointment in a University position. A student must be enrolled for a minimum number of credits in order to be eligible for appointment to a student employment position.
Must have U.S. or Canadian driver's license.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and other publishing programs.

Ability to multi-task and stay organized in stressful sce! narios.
Must have experience with customer service and seeking immediate solutions to customers' issues.
Must be willing to commit to minumum 10 hours/week.
Must be proficient in professional verbal and online communication.
Must have some experience with Microsoft Office programs.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities include coordinating with various groups for Raptor Center visits at their sites; setting up field trips and visits to The Raptor Center; organize Raptor Center presence at fairs and festivals within the community; maintain communications with education professionals through email and voicemail; provide assistance with Raptor Center events; responsible for timely sending and receiving of education materials; may be asked to design marketing and other materials. Will assist with marketing programs.
This position reports directly to The Raptor Center's Education Program Manager, and works as an i! ntegral part of the education team. Hours variable and flexible schedule.
Program/Unit Description
The Raptor Center specializes in the medical care, rehabilitation, and conservation of eagles, hawks, owls, and falcons.
In addition to treating approximately 800 birds a year, the internationally known program provides training in raptor medicine and surgery for veterinarians from around the world, reaches more than 200,000 people each year through public education programs and events, and identifies emerging issues related to raptor health and populations.
