The BAI Manager will partner with the Turkey commercial teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality strategic business decision support. As a member of the Business Analytics & Insights organization, this colleague will partner with Commercial Finance, Digital COEs, Chief Business Office organization and other analytics functions as necessary to ensure all resources are fully and appropriately leveraged to deliver robust solutions to business issues.
The person in this role will assist to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions and deliver the analytics and insights to support the adaptation of global strategies and tactics for the local market. This will include performance measurement, customer analytics, customer journey development, customer data mining and market research, as needed to uncover insights.
This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join BAI colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Market Analytics/Performance tracking
- Provide Analytic support in the market and interfacing with country commercial teams to provide data driven strategic guidance.
- In partnership with country stakeholders, recommend, define and implement business analytics plans that generate insights and influence business priorities and objectives
- Support customer/omni-channel analysis and consultation to proactively provide deep insights that drive and maximize business opportunities, including segmentation, customer journey development, data mining, workshopping insights into actions. Collaborate closely with marketing and Customer Experience teams in this context and lead forums to analyze and discuss results with leadership.
- Understand key healthcare systems, data sources, and ability to merge those data sources in a meaningful way
- Assist in framing, investigating, and answering key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics
Market Research
- Partner with key stakeholders to support the execution of market research and data analytic plans and manage the research process, globally and within countries
- Apply various types of primary market research techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to answer key business questions
Forecasting/Operating Plan Support
- In partnership with key Pfizer stakeholders, support Long Range Forecast (LRF) and Operating Plan activities
- Ensure accurate performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership, including clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business
Vendor Management/Onboarding
- Develop, commission and contract research and analytic projects through preferred vendors
- Manage budgets associated with assigned activities
- Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Accountable for meeting compliance and Corporate SOP obligations of all Primary Market Research projects
- Ensures successive onboarding of new MTs and consistency of BAI services during MT rotations
Collaboration with Other Analytical Teams
- Partner with local and global analytical teams to adapt global strategies to the local markets.
- Actively seek to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues making use of knowledge sharing platform
- Align with other analytics teams (CoEs/other Global or Country teams) to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders and facilitate best practice sharing
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Very Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Tableau (or related Data Visualization software) experience.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Understand and experience of quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies.
- Extensive experience in the management of secondary data and familiarity with pharma applicable data is highly desired (ex. Midas).
- Ability to connect, integrate, and synthesize analysis into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive clear strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision-making.
- Ability to analyze a situation - describing relevant caveats and uncertainties in research, analytic projects, and forecasts.
- Advanced analytics/data science solution (ex. Dataiku DSS) knowledge will be a plus
EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of work experience
- Analytic roles in Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare highly preferred
- Demonstrated professional experience of commercial, strategy and/or research/analytics interacting with senior stakeholders to effectively communicate insights.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required. Masters (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline will be a plus
