Under the direction of the Human Resources & Payroll Operations Center (HRPOC) Director, the HR Analyst provides compensation support for HRPOC clients. The HR Analyst performs administers HRPOC business and financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, travel arrangements and reimbursement, ledger reconciliation, and monitoring and maintaining vendor agreements; as well as general HR support for HRPOC client departments.
The incumbent also performs ongoing review, evaluation and analysis of existing and proposed job descriptions and classifications to ensure proper classification designation according to level of responsibility, complexity, and requirements based on departmental needs. Interprets salary data and classification history/analysis. Review requests for updates, reclassifications, equity increases and potential salary discrepancies, stipends, and temporary reassignments. Consult with HRPOC management and Campus Human Resources for exceptions and special approvals; assist departments in preparing justification.
