Buffalo Hospital has more than 400 employees, 180 physicians, and 34 staffed beds. It is a state-of-the-art facility with expanded or new facilities for emergency, urgent care, diagnostic imaging, surgery and outpatient center, cardiac center, sleep center and rehabilitation. The care team is noted for its passion in providing personalized, patient-centered care for nearly 66,000 inpatients and outpatients each year. Responsibilities Perform nursing process for the post partum, Labor and Delivery, and Level II newborn nursery.
Qualifications Education/Experience: MN Registered Nurse license in good standing with the MN State Board of Nursing BSN preferred 1 year minimum labor and delivery Postpartum experience required Level II experience preferred Skills: EFM Care of mom/baby Care of laboring patient Triage of antepartum patient Care of Level II baby Licensure/Certification: ACLS BLS NRP, EFM training RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility. Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Part Time Position (32 Hours/Week) Night Shifts Every 3rd Weekend- 12 hour night shifts MNA Contract Location/Community Information Located 35 minutes from Minneapolis or St. Cloud, the city of Buffalo lies at the intersection of two major highways and on two major recreational lakes, Buffalo Lake and Lake Pulaski.
