Francis Regional Medical Center, located in Shakopee, Minn., is jointly owned by Allina Health, Benedictine Health System, and Park Nicollet Health Services. It provides a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care services to more than 115,000 patients each year on a collaborative medical campus with more than 30 other providers. St. Francis has 800 employees, 400 physicians and ! 86 staffed beds. Responsibilities RN's working in this setting! will be required to provide direct nursing care to surgical and endoscopy patients pre and post op/procedure, as well as provide moderate sedation for anesthetic blocks and endoscopy cultures This is a fast-paced environment which requires long periods of standing This department cares for patients of all ages Qualifications Education & Experience: Current MN RN licensure BSN preferred CPAN certification preferred Minimum 1 year acute care Phase 2 recovery experience, ED or procedural nursing a plus Electronic medical record experience required Must have Charge RN experience BLS, ACLS certifications Skills: Airway management Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring Pain management skills Strong assessment and communication and organizational skills required Need to be able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment Ability to work well with multidisciplinary team RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Amer! ican Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility. Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Part time position 16 hours per week Evening shift Variable start times with call rotaiton MNA Contract Location/Community Information City of Shakopee is located in the southwest corner of the Twin Cities metropolitan area, 23 miles from Minneapolis, on the Minnesota River.
