Responsibilities The Surgical Tech! nologist provides technical expertise in identifying, assembling, and facilitating the use of surgical instruments/supplies/equipment to assist the surgical team in providing patient care for assigned patients. The Surgical Technologist works under the direction of the surgeon and the RN. Qualifications Education/Experience: Graduate of Certified Technology Program Current experience in multi specialty hospital setting preferred Licensure/Certifications: BLS Certification within 12 months of hire Skills: Demonstrates caring behaviors of listening, respect, compassion and accepting individuality Ability to work in a fast paced environment, adapts well to change, handles stress well, Organizational/time management/prioritization skills Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills Multitasking skills Team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Part time position (24 hours/week) Day/Evening Shift (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holi! days, Call) ADIT Contract Location/Community Information With beautiful natural settings along the Mississippi River, St. Paul embodies a large ethnically diverse population with restaurants, cultural entertainment, and shopping venues for everyone.
