Duties/Responsibilities

1. Work on research related to the NIH funded project investigating pancreatitis.

  • Participate in the design implementations and evaluation of research studies.
  • Collect and analyze data.
  • Collaborate on reports and publication of findings.
2. Development of research ideas, projects and study protocols

  • Participate in weekly research meetings to generate relevant and novel research ideas for grant applications.
3. Correspondence with the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee & Institutional Review Board

  • Submit applications for new research projects, renew application for existing and on-going studies, and terminate completed projects.
4. Preparation and Presentation of Abstracts for Podium or Poster

  • Write abstracts for submission to annual scientific meetings.
  • Present accepted abstracts as podium or poster during scientific meetings.
5. Manuscript writing and submission to scientific journals

  • Complete manuscri! pts and submit to peer-reviewed journals.
