Surgical Technologist
Location: Saint Cloud Minnesota

Approx every 4th or 5th weekend, will vary to cover LOAs/Vacations.
Approx 2-3 holidays per year.
Approx! 3-4 off premise call shifts per two weeks, with a maximum response time of 30 minutes.
The surgical technologist is a member of the surgical team working with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel in delivering quality patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgery.
When functioning in the scrub tech role, the surgical technologist is under the supervision of the registered nurse except for #16 & 17 below, when functioning under the direct supervision of the surgeon/Medical Staff Office approved providers (MSOA). Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards.
Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program required.
EXPERIENCE
Basic knowledge of surgical technologist du! ties and responsibilities.
One year experience as sur! gical technologist preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Certification preferred.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.
