Description: Surgical Science Inc. is at the momment seeking for Simulation Technology Specialist (STS) â€" Hospital/Educational right now, this job will be placed in Minnesota. The Surgical Science STS is a key member of the sales and support teams, collaborating with both to en! sure customer satisfaction and to identify additional sales opportunities. The STS will be the first line of technical support for all hospital and educational segments in the Americas using the Surgical Science suite of simulation systems including; Simulation Centers, Skills Labs, University Teaching Programs and Hospitals.
The STS will utilize exceptional interpersonal skills and knowledge to understand the nature of any hardware or software challenges that customers may be facing, and provide the necessary troubleshooting support and guidance needed to resolve the challenge. Based on the identified needs, the STS may be required to travel to the customer site to perform such support activities.
The STS will also work closely with the Surgical Science marketing team to support setup and tear down efforts at trade shows and exhibits; make follow-up calls to existing customers; and solicit feedback from customers on recently installed systems.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following Skills:
Excellent interpersonal (soft) skills â€" written, verbal, and listening skills
Excellent phone skills (greeting, exploration of issues, handling conflict, call control)
Strong Technical and mechanical aptitude for hardware and software setup and configuration
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills specific to coupled hardware-software systems
Excellent computer skills, including remote tech support software
Experience working in a fast high-paced environment focused on customer success
Experience working with technology and/or equipment used by physicians
Ability to travel approximately 50-75% and live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area
