Heritage Interpreter positions for post-secondary youths sponsored by Canada Summer jobs. Training supervision and mentorship provided by volunteers.
Conduct public education activities, cultural and hospitality events at rural Wesleyville Heritage Village including weekend family tours.
Consult with local indigenous representatives to develop an educational program and deliver a First Nations Culture weekend event.
Contact rural seniors in the Wesleyville Village area to share their stories and participate in a rural history event.
Research and organize information regarding history and land use of the Wesleyville area by indigenous peoples and settlers.
Develop new approaches (digital and in-person) to public engagement in conserving and celebrating our heritage.

Salary: $16.50 per hour
