Responsibilities
Responsible for the support and care of patients in a patient centered perioperative/surgical care environment
This shall include delegation from and collaboration with various team members
Position duties per POA job description
Education
Requires high school diploma/GED
Post secondary education preferred
Qualifications
Experience
POA experience of two years or more in an acute care setting preferred
POA experience within a perioperative/surgery center environment preferred
Skills
The ideal candidate must posses and demonstrate excellent team building skills
Excellent verbal, written, organization, critical thinking and efficiency skills a must
The ability to take direction and priority in a fast paced patient care environment with delivering excellent and safe care
Strong customer service skills required
These skills shall be demonstrated through the interview and selection process
Licensure/Certification
BLS
CNA
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Full Time position ( 40 hours/week)
Day/Evening shifts with variable start and ending times
Call and ho! lidays as needed
Occasional weekends
L113 contract
