What you’ll be doing...

The Verizon Security Professional Services Labs team is looking for a consultant to support multiple enterprise lab deployments associated with the Verizon Threat Response Advisory Center (VTRAC). As a member of this world-class team of consultants located across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC you will be a part of a group that leads thousands of cybersecurity investigations and other proactive engagements while annually authoring the industry-leading Data Breach Investigations Report and Data Breach Digest going back to their inception in 2008.

  • Deploying and managing systems associated with digital forensics investigations.

  • Managing of technical details and supporting the back-end systems of those involved in development.

  • Maintaining lab hardware.

  • Configuring, securing and supporting enterprise-class hardware and software solutions, from the physical to application layer.

  • Performing Technical coordination with third-party service providers and internal developers.

  • Troubleshooting technical issues associated with lab systems and networks.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.

  • Experience in VMware ESX management and Juniper firewall management

  • Fluency in English.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-class infrastructure, hardware, and software.

  • The ability to work as part of a team and absorb knowledge on the go.

  • Experience in areas such as networking, Windows and Linux administration, database configuration and administration, virtualization and security.

  • Experience in enterprise-class hardware support, including firewalls, switches, storage arrays, and servers.

  • Understanding of database platforms (SQL), information security, network architecture, document management, and web applications.

  • Experience in cybersecurity.

  • Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, SANS, ISC2, or comparable certification.

  • Experience in python or other scripting/programming language.

  • Knowledge of project management principals.
