Teamturf are a specialist artificial grass company that installs sports, landscaping and playground surfaces throughout New Zealand.
We are looking for a driven and energetic person to lead our Auckland based installation team. Technical experience in artificial grass installation is not essential, we’re willing to train the right person on everything there is to know about our industry.
Day to day duties include:
- Planning the days programme and goals for the day
- Site measurements and line marking set out
- Hands on turf installation, cutting and trimming turf into place
- Accuracy when seaming and joining rolls
- Guiding, supporting and motivation other installers
- A real eye for detail delivering the highest quality projects
- Ability to communicate well with clients and the wider team
The pay rate depends on the skills and experience of the applicant. There is the opportunity to increase your wage very quickly depending on how fast you can develop.
We're after someone that will take pride in their work, is reliable and fits well with our small team. The client base is predominantly schools, childcares, councils or sports clubs where you’ll be installing multi-purpose sports courts, playground surfacing, tennis courts or cricket wickets. This roll is a hands on leadership role, this means getting stuck in and showing the rest of the team how it’s done and leading by example.
Flexible employment by arrangement. Occasional out of Auckland travel for 4-5 days but predominantly Auckland wide. No two days are the same.
