Job Overview
We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for a Medical Science Liaison to lead the scientific dialogue within the therapeutic area of ADHD, through scientific discussions with healthcare providers, on behalf of our client.
Essential Functions
- The MSL will be responsible for developing and maintaining broad and relationships with key stakeholders.
- Frequent overnight travel required
Qualifications
- Ph.D. Terminal degree (PharmD, MD, PhD) with at least 3 years MSL experience Req
- Candidates are presumed to have extensive knowledge and experience in this role with a proven track record of success. Additionally, candidates will have worked within the Biopharmaceutical industry in a Medical Affairs position.
- ADHD experience required
- Relationships with KOL’s in child psychiatry preferred
- Proven track record of success
- Experience with academic institutions, IHS, hospitals preferred
- Experience with clinical trials and patient recruitment preferred
- Experience making scientific presentations
- The position requires good knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines and scientific publications, competitors' medical and marketing activities and the reimbursement environment, relevant to the use of new FDA approved treatment for ADHD
- Demonstrated ability to clearly impart technical information allied to good written and oral communications skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills with a high level of sensitivity relative to the needs of patients and health care providers
- Ability to develop/maintain an effective professional network
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Good problem solving skills and ability to exercise sound business judgment
- Initiative and execution orientated with evidence of tenacity and perseverance
- Strong ethics with good attention to detail and commitment to excellence
