The role
As Scientific Communication Coordinator, you will support activities for the internal scientific communication at Genmab. You will assist the Scientific communication team in processes administration and internal communication.
The Scientific Communication team is responsible for providing scientific writing and documentation support for our Antibody Discovery, Translational Research, New Antibody Product Research and Antibody Research & Technology teams. The team is NL-based and embedded in the global Translational Research & Precision Medicine department.
Responsibilities
- Provide inputs for optimization of standardized/pre-described activities related with internal scientific communication.
- Gathering reports into slide decks from scientific conference publications relevant for Genmab’s nonclinical pipeline and research.
- Coordinate and organize internal scientific research seminars and conferences.
- Generating and maintaining overviews of competitor products. Inventory ongoing publications, update overviews, and internal presentations.
- Development, review, revision and implementation of reports, presentations, and summaries for different purposes.
- Organize department operations and procedures.
Requirements
- BSc (HLO) or MSc within the Life Sciences.
- Knowledge and understanding of immunology, antibody biology and/or cancer biology.
- Interest in scientific writing with intrinsic attention to detail.
- Work experience in pharma/biotech is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proactive and team-oriented player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal stakeholders.
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
