The County of Riverside's Office on Aging (OoA) is seeking a qualified candidate for their Executive Assistant III (At-Will) position to join the team in Riverside.
The incumbent in this position will provide complex clerical and administrative support to the Director and Deputy Director of the Office on Aging. The Executive Assistant III (At-Will) will also be responsible for complex clerical duties requiring the application of policies and procedures, complex statistical and unit of services reports from tracking data, and coordinating and preparing travel itineraries and meetings. Additionally, the incumbent will assist Office on Aging coordinators with outreach events, coordinate and compile communications between managers and executive assistants, act as a lead on projects, and supervise subordinate clerical staff. May need to travel throughout the county as needed.
The most competitive candidates will have experience with virtual conference platforms, planning and coordinating projects, researching various topics, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The Executive Assistant III is not a natural progression underfill for the class of Executive Assistant IV. Advancement to the next level is obtained by competitive selection through an open recruitment.
This class has been designated At-Will in accordance with the provisions provided under Article 6, Section 601E (8) of the County Management Resolution and serves at the pleasure of the County Executive Officer.
