IT Control & Compliance Officer [Czech Republic]


 

About the role

The IT Control & Compliance Officer is part of the Global Akkodis Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Services & Strategy function (2nd line of defense) who owns the Global IT Policy & Control framework.

She/he is responsible to evaluate the IT Internal Control Framework (ICF) effectiveness and perform internal audits to assess compliancy within Akkodis entities against the ICF and key IT security certifications such as ISO27001 and TISAX.

She/he works closely with the IT team, IT Security, Risk and Compliance, as well as management and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks related to IT controls and compliance.

The IT Control & Compliance Officer can intervene on any entity of the Akkodis Group in the world, whether remotely or in presence. International and national travels are expected.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conduct regular assessments of the organisation’s IT systems and operations to identify potential risks and control weaknesses
  • Review and assess IT policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with applicable law, regulations, and standards
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to management and other stakeholders on how to mitigate risks and improve IT controls and compliance
  • Communicate or assist in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management
  • Monitor and report on the status of audit findings, including progress against agreed action plans
  • Support the GRC Services & Strategy Manager in planning the IT audits, including risk assessments, scoping, audit planning, fieldwork and reporting
About you

Required skills


  • Proficient in using IT audit methodologies and tooling and data analysis techniques
  • Good understanding of IT concepts and technologies (operating system, network, cloud, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex IT systems and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate complex findings and recommendations to senior management and non-tech audience
  • Practical ability to develop custom audit scripts and tooling is a strong plus

Required experience


  • Hands-on experience of identifying gaps in IT environments with industry standards and best practices, such as COBIT, NIST Cybersecurity framework, ISO27001, and ITIL
  • 3 years+ of experience in the field of IT auditing in an international environment
  • Experience of communicating complex technology concepts to non-technical audience, including senior management
  • Experience with auditing ERP systems, cloud computing and emerging technologies is a plus
  • Experience in cyber security and/or ethical hacking is a plus
  • Experience in a “Big 4” is a plus

Required education


  • Hold one or several relevant security certifications in the field (e.g. ISO27001 Lead Auditor, CISA, CISM, or similar)
  • MSC in IT or IT Security preferred
