Hutt Hospital is currently looking for kitchen assistants to join our food service team. This position is full-time, rostered and rotating including weekends. Usual shifts are 7am-4pm and 10am-7pm. Applicants must be available for both shifts and full training is provided.
The role includes meal assembly, basic food preparation, transport of trolleys and cleaning. This is a busy kitchen with a fast paced work day.
Hutt Hospital food service provides approximately 1000 meals each day. All meals are prepared and served fresh onsite. We are committed to ensuring quality meals to our patients, staff, visitors and Meals on Wheels recipients.
