We are currently looking for a seasonal Labourer to work as a General Mill Worker (GMW) to join our Day Gang Team located at the Proserpine Mill.
The role is based at the Proserpine Mill and will suit someone who is self-motivated and doesn't need close supervision. Previous related experience is not essential as we will provide training for a person who displays the right aptitude and team fit.
The position involves day work during the crushing season, weekend work and some overtime may be required.

Primary responsibilities:

Performing labouring duties, including but not limited to;
- mowing, whipper sniper, general gardening and ground duties, shoveling, air lancing and maintaining clean work areas etc.
- Ensuring permits to work and risk assessments are completed
- Assisting tradespersons where required
- Taking samples as directed
- Perform other duties as the Supervisor may reasonably request
- Assisting tradespersons where required
