The Role: Our Marketing Administrator plays a vital role in the marketing department. You will be responsible for scheduling and executing our direct marketing campaigns, including targeted email and SMS advertising, digital engagement contests, promotions and mobile-app messaging. You will assist with managing content and its placement.
Here is what you will be doing (the important stuff)
- Assist with driving the direct marketing strategy across SMS, email and other digital marketing platforms
- Set up, testing, execution and reporting on marketing campaigns and promotions across various platforms
- Configure and distribute landing pages
- Brief in designers and copy writers timeously, and review work
- Manage timelines and schedules for external communications
- Research, evaluate, segment and pull list selections for targeted and mass mailings from the Gaming system
- Competitor analysis of direct marketing campaigns
- Updating content on client facing websites via back-office tools
- Configuration and testing of promotions and campaigns
- Matric / Grade 12
- Prior experience of i-gaming / casino
- 3+ years in a technical marketing position
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Great organizational skills
- Track record of success working both independently and within teams
- Advanced level MS Office skills – Excel guru a must
- Experience with bulk mailing programs (Everlytics, Sendgrid, Mailchimp, ETC)
- HTML basic skills
- Landingi or similar experience
- Optimove / Sales Force or similar experience would be advantageous
