We are currently looking to recruit an experienced full time OTC assistant.
The successful candidate must have excellent English and experience working as an OTC assistant in a community pharmacy. A recognised OTC qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
Duties will include;
- advising customers on the safe use of medicines and pharmacy products
- providing excellent customer service in a friendly, empathetic and confidential manner
- stock management and merchandising
- ensuring that the pharmacy is kept clean and tidy
- cash handling and till duties
As the main point of contact for our customers, it is important that the successful applicant demonstrates the following;
- a strong work ethic and positive, enthusiastic outlook with a willingness to learn
- excellent communication skills and fluent English
- the ability to build strong working relationships with all members of the pharmacy team while also able to work on own initiative when necessary
- good prioritising , multi-tasking and organisational skills in an often fast paced environment
- punctual and well presented at all times
