Dosign is looking for a Senior Project Control Engineer for our client in The Hague. You are responsible for cost control and forecasting & estimating for brownfield / revamp projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry.
This vacancy is for a senior Project Controller with experience in the engineering. You will interface with both Dutch and international offices at clients, subcontractors and suppliers. You will be part of the Project Controls division at our client.
Our client is a large engineering firm based in The Hague. They focus on the upstream, refinery, petrochemical, energy and fine chemicals sectors. This company's customers include major plant owners such as Shell, NAM, BP, Exxonmobil, Lyondell, DSM, Dupont, Vopak and more.
They work with large teams on these projects with specialists in process engineering, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, civil, structural, procurement and project management.
A lot of attention is paid to development and personal growth, so that you can stay challenged at this company for the long term. Working from home a few days a week is also possible at this company, as long as the work permits, of course.
Duties:
Managing project cost throughout project cycle;
Developing cost estimates for forecasting;
Preparing change proposals;
Using Earned Value Analysis (EVA) for progress tracking;
Participating in meetings with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
Job requirements:
7+ years of experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry, such as brownfield or revamp projects;
Experience with in multiple office projects;
Experienced in engineering projects;
Experience in a coordinating / managing role;
Familiar with the relevant Dutch and international legislation;
Professional level of English in both writing and speech;
Able to work with Word and an advanced level in Excel;
In possession of a Driving license;
Residing in the Netherlands.
