Who we need

Reporting to the Operations Manager and as part of the Shoplogix Global Professional Services team, we are looking for a Software Implementation Consultant to join our team in Europe. Our software implementation cycle is rapid and highly configurable, and you will be responsible for implementing our SaaS products for our manufacturing customers. This is a hands-on role for an Implementation Consultant who has experience in applying project management best practices in SaaS solution implementation.

The position is 100% Remote, with 35% travel throughout Europe, plus semi-annual visits to our headquarters located in Oakville, Canada.

What’s in it for you

Exposure, impact, and influence. You want to be part of a collaborative Professional Services team upselling, implementing, and supporting cloud-based SaaS solutions for manufacturing clients. You will see your ideas come together as you contribute to solving real-world problems through the efficient implementation of solutions as you grow relationships and apply your insights to increase engagement.

Career development. You will be part of an organization that promotes from within, with the chance to move up to a Senior Project Manager, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Manager or other areas within Shoplogix or Constellation Software if that interests you.

How you will make an impact:

  • Oversee implementation. You will follow industry project management best practices and internal methodologies to implement SaaS products. You will own the end-to-end project from kick-off, gap analysis, deployment, and configuration to validation, training, updates, and reporting.
  • Collaborate and communicate. You will work cross-functionally with members of the Sales, Customer Success, and Development teams to quickly resolve any client issues and drive customer satisfaction. You will manage communication with clients and stakeholders and build meaningful relationships with key contacts to ensure project business and technical objectives are met, along with regular updates in a ticketing system.
  • Build engagement. You will establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor with customers to drive the continued value of our products and services, effectively preventing attrition. You will discuss strategies, brainstorm new features requests, and implement the best options. You will support sales and post-implementation activities as needed, providing product demos, training and software adoptions. You will work closely with Account Management and Professional Services to identify opportunities for developing and delivering new services, products, and modules.
  • Elevate quality. You will be assigned personal projects to help optimize internal processes. You will contribute documentation and diagrams to our knowledge base to support our internal teams, partner community, and customers.

You will bring:

  • Education. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial / Mechatronics / Electrical / Software / Computer) or related field.
  • The experience. You have experience in software implementation, system engineering or solutions engineering. You can apply theoretical concepts to practical applications and installations. You have an eye for detail and the ability to drill down to find root causes, debugging issues, and solve problems.
  • Project management. You have technical experience in professional services and implementations and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. You can balance competing priorities, meeting deliverables for multiple concurrent projects. You can set and execute a project plan and oversee projects from start to finish.
  • The customer focus. You have exceptional customer service and communication skills gained through post-sales and customer service and working with cross-functional teams. Your priority is the satisfaction of your customers as a result of creative problem solving and applying theoretical concepts to practical applications. You can translate technical requirements for a non-technical audience.
  • The collaborative approach. You can build trusting relations and efficiently work across in-person and remote teams. You are quick to adapt when priorities shift and take feedback well. You are comfortable with ambiguity and are willing to figure things out when no clear, defined path or process is outlined.
  • The initiative. You are a critical thinker who can creatively solve problems, and you continuously pursue knowledge and innovation. You are inspired by a fast-paced environment and can rise to the challenge of competing priorities.
  • The flexibility. You are working remotely with availability to travel throughout Europe up to 35% of the time.
