Oversee high-quality resolution of any inquiries or rework necessary to support a successful Sourcing experience for both our customers and for Grainger. Scope of work may include issue investigation, quote preparation and rework, returns and successful communications with suppliers, customers and business partners to ensure the most optimal solution is reached for all involved. Reports to Supervisor, Sourcing. • Update and rework quotes and orders following standard process to deliver the most value for our customers and for Grainger.
- Communicate with suppliers, sellers, customers, and other partners to understand the issue at hand and bring to successful resolution of Sourcing's most complex challenges. • Weigh customer and requestor needs with the needs of the business, performing a root cause analysis where necessary to arrive at the best, most appropriate solution. • Produce the simplest solutions to solve even the most complicated of issues, providing the best possible experience for both our internal and external customers. • Escalate to resolve seller, supplier or customer challenges that require additional support.
- Maintain high levels of productivity, maximizing working time to produce the appropriate levels of activity. • Ensure customer expectations for timing are met. • Understand how to navigate all areas of Sourcing to manage work and redirect to appropriate areas. • Embrace curiosity and change, sharing ideas and best practices to contribute to Sourcing's vision for becoming best-in-class
