1. The Account Executive is responsible for the sale of DVT/MU/ICHC line of ArjoHuntleigh products to assigned market segments, achieving the highest volume/profitabili! ty possible in a designated territory, consistent with assigned quota and company policy.

2. Additional Activities include:
Calls on and qualifies hospital administrators, nursing directors. Arranges appointments, equipment demonstrations and eventual sales for ArjoHuntleigh products.

Responsible for achieving assigned territory Quota in line with company goals.

Transports equipment to potential customer facilities and conducts thorough demonstrations of ArjoHuntleigh design-integrated systems and products in accordance with established techniques and user needs.

Following sale and delivery of product, conducts a complete in-service education of equipment operation to customer personnel, demonstrating safe and proper operating procedures.

Initiates and maintains orderly customer and potential customer account. Keeps a timely and accurate record of all contracts, developments, transactions, pertinent information and pro! vides same information to the RSD on a regular basis.

! Plans and coordinates customer calls, products demonstrations and in-service presentations to insure the most effective and efficient use of time.

Develops and maintains current information regarding market conditions, sales potentials, and competition activity within assigned territory. Keeps Regional Sales Director informed of all related details.

Develops potential sales leads by conducting research, maintaining key industry contacts and attending trade shows and meetings.

Prepares and submits to the Regional Sales Director complete, accurate and timely reports

Promotes the Company and its image by displaying the highest personal, ethical and professional standards of conduct and performance.

Acquires and continually upgrades knowledge regarding the features, benefits and application of ArjoHuntleigh competitor equipment, selling techniques, healthcare industry trends, developments and legislative issues.

Maintains c! ompany-provided vehicle and all equipment in first-rate condition.

Periodic follow-ups with existing customers to ensure ArjoHuntleigh products are performing to their satisfaction.

3. The Account Executive will be solely responsible for the sales/rental of all ArjoHuntleigh products in Acute markets.

4. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Ideal Experience :
A minimum of three (3) years of recent and successful disposable and capital sales experience within medical device industry to include:

Strong hospital experience/knowledge/ and relationships in the Maryland/DC area to enable account executive to immediately step into position to maintain high market share of business.

Experience working for master distributors such as Owens and Minor, Cardinal, Seneca, or Medline a PLUS.

Strong experience closing large IDN’s in the area a plus.

Strong experience calling on and influ! encing key decision makers/influencers within the facility with key emp! hasis on surgeons.

Calling on multiple acute care call points and departments.

Established contacts within assigned geographic territory is required including IDN’s/GPO’s.

Advanced training and/or work experience in healthcare operations, organization, budgeting, and purchasing.

Negotiating and monitoring compliance to customer contracts.

Practical business understanding to help identify customer needs to deliver results, having demonstrated strong business acumen and professionalism.

Set of diverse experiences affording the individual a broad business perspective as well as the ability to anticipate critical issues.

Experience in working in other organizations that can deal with change, lack of clear communication and the ability to identify the steps that need to be taken in order to execute.

Must be able to interpret and manipulate data from computer-generated reports, software programs, technica! l manuals, and written correspondence.

Ideal Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g.life sciences, marketing, or business) is required.

Formal professional sales training (i.e. Miller Heiman, etc.) is preferred.

Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and drive for long

periods of time. (Valid driver’s license is required.)

The employee must have use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and

arms; speak and hear.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,

depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to travel by car or airplane when required.

Must be able to lift a minimum of! 100 lbs due to the need to transport equipment in van or trailer.
