Sterilmed, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a full-time Internal Auditor in Maple Grove, MN.Sterilmed is a nationally recognized company that safely reprocesses si! ngle-use medical devices for hospitals and surgery centers across the country. We take great pride in saving hundreds of millions of dollars for the health care system while simultaneously diverting thousands of tons of biomedical waste from landfills. Medical device reprocessing is an FDA-regulated industry and is endorsed by the AHA, AORN, CMS and the Joint Commission. Key duties of the position include: Conduct audits to ensure overall compliance Develop, maintain and execute standard operating procedures, controlled documents and testing Maintain/improve the global internal control policies and procedures Develop and maintain the annual Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) project plan Continually improve overall SOX process Oversee and assist with corporate Information Asset Protection Program (IAPP) compliance Use outside and corporate resources to keep current on legislation and industry best practice Align resources to project activities and track progress against project plans Fac! ilitate compliance with the internal control standards Assist ! with the development of compliance training materials Ensure all documentation requirements are met Manage internal control testing processes Work directly with business units on issues related to the timeliness, adequacy, and completeness of testing Monitor self-assessment results and report on business unit performance, deficiencies, and remediation status Complete assessments as needed Test internal controls in corporate functions Position will generally be composed of 75% Finance and 25% Information Systems compliance Provide financial modeling and analyses to management and prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested Committed to building a positive culture Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned Sterilmed offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package. Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred CPA or CIA preferred 2+ years in public accounting, internal audit or technology audit Large public accounting firm experience a plus Prior experience in the medical device industry a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong business acumen Strict attention to detail and follow-up skills Ability to function independently as well as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
