Malterud, D.D.S. is at present looking to employ Small Solo Practice Seeks Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) with Strong Communicat ion Skills right now, this vacancy will be placed in Minnesota. We are a very unique, progres! sive dental office that focuses on comprehensive and minimally invasive dentistry. We are not your typical "drill and fill" type of office. Patients in our practice benefit from the wide range of services we provide so it is imperative that a new addition to the team be excited about the ever changing innovative treatment we offer. Our provided services encompass all facets of dentistry. Our services include but are not limited to: conservative composite restorations, laser endo, implants, dentures/overdentures, comprehensive cosmetics, Invisalign, TMD/Myofascial Pain treatments, and various interceptive caries therapies.
The appropriate candidate should be willing to learn, change and adapt to a fast paced working environment and thrive in a position where this is a requirement. In addition to the wide range of chair side duties, maintaining a safe and clean work environment is a must.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Clinical:!
- assisting the dentist during a wide variety of t! reatment procedures
- taking digital x-rays and Cone Beam CTs
- Digital Charting
- preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- taking impressions of patients' teeth and pouring up models- lab work is expected
- Maintaining cleanliness of the office
- Post-Op care calls
- Treatment Planning
- communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies)
- Maintaining our compliance with OSHA, radiation, and other regulatory responsibilities
The position is Monday-Thursday with benefits. Salary commensu! rate with experience.
