Position description
Mayo Clinic's Department of Orthopedic Surgery is seeking a Non-Operative Orthopedic Surgeon to join our practice in Rochester, Minnesota.
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to join an established department with 1 other non-operative orthopedic surgeon and a team of three orthopedic NP/PAs and orthopedic nurses. Candidates must be comfortable evaluating and treating shoulder, hip, knee and some foot/ankle diagnoses. You may expect a busy practice in a financially stable organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction. Education and Research are options of the position. You may participate in teaching 1st and some 2nd year internal medicine residents about musculoskeletal exam and treatments.
License or certification
Board-Certified /Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery and eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota- fellowship training in either Sports Medicine, Total joint reconstruction, Trauma, Shoulder or Tumor preferred but not preclusive .
