Surgical Technologist- Ambulatory Surgery

Description: Fairview Health Services is looking of Surgical Technologist- Ambulatory Surgery right now, this vacancy will be placed in Minnesota. Performs the functions of a surgical technologist at Fairview Maple Grove Ambulatory Surgery as a scrub person during surgical procedures providing patient care services appropriate to the age of the patients (ages pediatric through geriatric) served during the shift of duty in collaboration with the RN. Is responsible for adhering to standards of nursing practice and patient care, correct use of supplies/equipment and maintenance of the surgical suite under the direction of a RN.
Casual hours; M-F, mainly day shifts. Filling in for preplanned and last minute needs.
Job Qualifications:
Graduate from an approved Surgical Technology program. Prefer AST Certification or certification eligible at time of hire. Preference given to candidate with at least 2 years experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Must be available to work M-F day shifts.
