We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de partie to join our team.Will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our restaurant's recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and standards
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Manage food waste and minimize costs
- Follow proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Meet food preparation and presentation timelines
- Keep up to date with industry trends and new cooking techniques
- Follow any special diet requirements and accommodate customer preferences
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment
- Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adjust recipes as needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: BD200.000 - BD270.000 per month
