Sr Finance Analyst [Kuwait]

 

Join a team of finance professionals in the commercial sector to assist with financial decision-making for one of Honeywell's businesses. Your role will involve supporting the financial landscape by focusing on speed, quality, and cost efficiency through tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will play a crucial part in managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies to achieve the business's committed performance goals. Supporting Honeywell's business leaders and driving finance initiatives and decisions will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will play a vital role in identifying trends and developments in competitive environments and providing support for management's decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

Authorize the books of accounts.
Ensure timely completion of month/quarter-end close procedures.
Promote compliance with financial regulations and policies.
Analyze variances and provide insights.
Prepare financial projections.
Assist with audits.
Strengthen internal controls.
Maintain documentation for processes.
Foster continuous improvement efforts

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Some relevant experience in similar positions.
• Masters degree in Finance or CPA.
• Masters degree in Finance or CPA.
• Ability to present complex analysis with clarity.
• Ability to understand accounting and financial processes related to the business.
• Knowledge of US GAAP Sarbes-Oxley and Internal controls.
• Prior experience as a people manager.
• Good oral and written communication.
