Sales and Marketing [South Africa]


 

Overview of the role:

  • Successfully achieve assigned digital sales targets by closing deals and engaging with all necessary stakeholders through the sales cycle.
  • Day to day management and optimization of digital marketing campaigns, to existing clients, potential and ex client campaigns.
  • Prospecting, qualifying, and generating new leads to support product lines.
  • Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to promote products and services.
  • Proactively contacting existing and potentially new customers via phone, virtual meeting tools, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Nurturing our existing partner relationship and maintaining a successful working partnership so we continue to drive direct and partner-led deals.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and fostering these accounts with trial and closed sales.
  • Build and progress a new business pipeline.
  • Monitor the industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand customer's specific needs.
  • Utilizing internal and external data to ensure that customers are thoroughly researched to develop sales plans that meet the customer’s needs.
  • Build and maintain relations with new and existing clients.
  • Achieve pipeline targets.
  • Conducting sales presentations and demonstrations to potential clients where needed.
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and developments.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support.

Technical Expertise

  • Must understand Digital Marketing
  • Good understanding of digital media and advertising
  • Be astute in BTL and ABL concepts.
  • Understand creative processes associated with digital marketing.
  • Combination of the client experience – post-activation assessment and compliance
  • Strong communication, negotiation, business acumen and presentation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong relationship management, planning and process driven.
  • Analytical and logical
  • Product knowledge

Qualification and Experience

  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a fast-moving digital media sales environment.
  • Qualification in Marketing/Public Relations
  • Certificate in Digital Marketing will be advantageous.
  • Strong sales skills: account planning, cold calling, SWOT analysis, upselling, cross-selling, forecast accuracy.
  • Consistent achievement of sales quotas and forecasted revenue targets.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
