Description: Entegee is at present looking to employ Sr. Drools Consultant, Rules Engine Specialist right now, this career will be placed in Minnesota. The client seeks a professional to help with projects and assisting in setting up their Drools best practices, architecture and positioning them for the long term. They are looking to move SQL Stored Procedure logic into Drools Rules, as well as set up a centralized repository for these rules. These rules are based on patient surgeries in the hospital and are meant to catch certain complications and other events that could be later displayed to care providers. There are quite a few of these rules, and they have dependencies between each other (fo! r example, Rule A depends on the result of Rule B).

J! ob Description

• Create a Java-based Domain Model based on the information in the database.
• Architect Repositories/DAOs to extract the data from the database to the Drools Rules engine.
• Translate Stored Procedure logic into Drools.
• Create a centralized Drools Rule engine to execute these rules.
• Allow the Rule engine to access a centralized rule repository (Guvnor, in this case).
• Design a mechanism to listen for changes to data in the database.
• Design a strategy to load/reload Drools facts as new information/patients come in or leave.
• Create automated tests for all of above.

• Knowledge of Drools Rules Syntax
• Drools Fusion/Complex Event Processing

• Guvnor (install/setup, creating DSLs, connecting a Knowledgebase to)
• Domain Driven Design
• OO Modeling
• Ability to read/understand SQL Stor! ed Procedures
• Spring
• Ibatis/MyBatis (or Hibernate, or other ORM)

• REST/JSON
