We are currently see! king an Accountant 1 to work in our Shoreview, MN office.
The Accountant 1 will be responsible for performing routine accounting activities relating to the maintenance of the general ledger and resulting managerial reports and financial statements. Manages accounts requiring the analysis of accounting transactions and the establishment or maintenance of accounting controls. Prepares entries for financial reporting system. Collects, reviews and prepares data for financial and regulatory reports. Prepares and verifies account reconciliations and certifications. Assists in the preparation of consolidated balance sheets, income statements, changes in capital and cash flows for assigned area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA or equivalent
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under time restriction
- Goal oriented and self-motivated
- Computer experience
- Ability to maintain repetitive motion in entry of data through period of 8 hour day with standard breaks
- 1+ years of experience in a similar type role
- CPA
- Track record of company longevity / loyalty (3+ years)
