RN- Float Pool

Description: Fairview Health Services is currently seeking to employ RN- Float Pool right now, this job will be placed in Minnesota. More details about this job opportunity please read the description below. Float pool: Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate patient care. Float pool RNs are oriented to all patient care areas of the hospital except Labor and Delivery, Emergency Room and Surgery. They are assigned to wo! rk in units to fill vacancies of the regularly scheduled staff, i.e. vacations, illness and absences.
Flying squad: Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate patient care. Oriented to float to all units of the hospital except L&D and Surgery. Are fully cross-trained to work in Critical Care and Emergency Services. May be assigned to work in a specific unit or in the flying squad role moving throughout the hospital providing support and crisis intervention.
60 hr in ppd, 12 hr Nites . every third wknd (2 openings)
Job Qualifications:
Float pool: Mn RN license or by start date. Must have float pool RN experience. Requires ability to provide written validation of current basicl life support competency or ability to obtain written validation within 30 days of hire. Telemetry skills preferred.
Flying squad: Mn RN license, telemetry and 3-5 years critical care or equivalent experience required. Requires ability to pro! vide written validation of current basic life support competen! cy or ability to obtain written validation within 30 days of hire. Requires ability to provide written validation of current ACLS competency or ability to obtain written validation within 6 months of hire based on employee's role.
Physical demands: Sitting, standing, walking, lifting-max 35lbs, push/pull-max. 35 lbs, balance, stooping/crouching, grasping, writing, finger dexterity/keyboarding, reaching, color vision, operate machinery, physical presence at work
